Woman who moaned all year about roads in Skye moaning about repairs to fix them

Portree woman Morag Mackinnon is absolutely fizzing at the news that Bear Scotland will be closing parts of the main road through Skye over the next month for urgently needed repairs to the island’s creaking infrastructure.

Morag told the Gael “I really can’t believe it. Work needs done and whilst closing it at night seem sensible, I want to go visit my friend Sheila in Broadford and it’s just so inconvenient. Surely they should have consulted with me and waited until I was on holiday in Spain next February before they do this?”

When the Gael showed her a range of Facebook posts moaning about the state of the roads and also her telling her friends “to take a picture and send it to the council” when they got punctures, Morag was defiant “So what? It’s easy to complain about these things, and now the hospital seems to be reasonably safe and the Gaelic school is up and running and everyone is really happy with it now, I’ve got nothing to moan about.”
