SQA joy for Skye girl as she gets grades to go to Glasgow and pick up fake Weegie accent

Tina-Mairead MacKinnon from Minginish in the Isle of Skye was celebrating this morning as she secured the C in Higher English she needed to go and study Psychology and Instagram Modelling at South West Glasgow College.

Having left Portree High School in the Summer, Tina-Mairead told the Gael “I can’t wait to leave home. I’m so buzzing, although I think that might be because I’m still drunk and coked up from Belladrum. As soon as I’m finished the summer season, I’ll be down to the Weeg where I won’t give this island a second thought except when I want to get some likes on my insta by posting up a picture of the Cuillins and the caption “no place like home <3” on it.”

“I’ve already changed my Facebook to say I’m from Glasgow and I’m trying hard to phase out my teuchter accent for a West End one. I’m also looking forward to being fake as f*** to that bitch Karen if and when I bump into her on Argyle Street.”

“And if you see me in the Park Bar, please shoot me.”
