Peanut Butter wins “Worst Lubricant” at Black Isle Show
The Black Isle show – otherwise known as Glastonbeauly – attracted an estimated 4,623,772 spectators this years with participators coming as far as from as far afield as Nairn.
Best in show for cows was once again won by a lovely cow.
Many lovely lovely sheep were in attendance which was fantastic.
The real shock of this year came in the “Worst Lubricant competition” were the favourites “piles of rubble” and “Gaelic signage” was pipped to the post by organic crunchy peanut butter.
The much beloved “Worst Lubricant” competition came about after a local crofter used a the steering wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa to free the Convenor of the Western Isles Council from a doorway to the delight of a baying crowd and nobody in the Western Isles.
