Matt Baker apologises for calling Harris “The Middle of Nowhere”

The One Show host Matt Baker has apologised for calling Harris “The Middle of Nowhere” on last night’s broadcast of Antaidh’s flagship magazine show.

The former Blue Peter presenter said via the show’s Twitter ”I’d like to clarify my remarks. On reflection, I misspoke and meant to say “Arse-end” instead of “Middle””

”Please forgive me for any confusion. I’m a nice chap and most importantly, not Adrian Chiles.”

MG Alba said “We were delighted to facilitate Matt and the Welsh blone’s visit to Na Hebrides an Iar. There was a lot less English than we’re used to in our regular programming on BBC Alba but it went well.”
